so of all that manipulating to extend series eventually the favorites took out all of the game 7's (so far) wow big surprise (sarcasm). I never was in doubt they would not advance. Except for of course Portland but i know they tried to send that series to 7 after that Lillard feet not established call when scores were even deep in the 4th. It took a heave from Lillard to spoil there plans.
If the league is willing to do all it can to extend series, plus let the faves eventually take it out....most def they will be willing to go all the way and create favorable ratings match ups. This is after all all about the cash for Silver & the league. Spurs vs Portland would be far more entertaining than Portland vs Dallas & Miami vs BK would be a million times more entertaining than Raptors vs Miami - where there's no real history or beefs apart from Bosh.
I believe Donaghy was right about the league wanting BK to advance and i think they will get the favorable calls here, like Spurs will.
I also predicted Spurs to take out the West, so only a given i take them to advance.

Miami will obviously make the NBA finals.....And the obvious pick would be OKC over Spurs - since i do believe match ups are scripted/allowing the right teams to advance for ratings then OKC should be the pick as their would be nothing bigger than having Durant & Lebron face each other again. But i just think Spurs have been shafted the past several years w/ them being on top for so long w/ nothing to show but a runners up last season & then (t)Ray(tor) Allen cheating them out of that championship victory. I had Miami HUUUUUGE in that finals and was lucky to get that win for the biggest profit ever. I believed the league wanted Heat to win and when they sent in Joey Crawford i was convinced.....until i saw the whistles wee favoring the Spurs. I believe they wanted Duncan, Parker & Manu to have their final spotlight before retirement. I think this is still in their best interest. Revenge NBA finals for the Spurs. I think it could be as big as a Lebron/Durant clash.

It will be an Indy vs Miami ECF.....so gotta have Pacers winning this 1st game to not risk any upsets here. Wizards vs Heat? lol i don't think so!!!!
The OKC/LAC series is actually a series i'm not too sure about. Both teams have all-stars and exciting players. Both these teams bring in ratings & revenues.......but i do know that they will most def want this series extended. What better than 7 games of Durant/Westy vs Griffin/CP3. for that reason i would take the Clips here but w/ only a days rest having to travel after that gruelling game 7 vs GSW i just can't back them in this spot. Game 2 may be a different story.
.......Actually come to think of it w/ Durant winning the league MVP you would think they would want the world to continue to see Durant in the best interest of revenues etc. Because of this i'll take OKC to take out this series. Plus Clippers defense isn't something to be confident about.

3-6 last 2 days. only 3rd losing day in almost 2 weeks o not too bad. i can't quite gauge these semi finals quite yet. If i don't figure it out in these game 2's i may have some more troubles moving forward. Hopefully that won't be the case
