I dont think he was talking about the teams winning record or players i think he was referring more to the organization. The celtics will be rebuilding and are doing it smartly, new coach who s learning along with his players, new players that go out and play BOTH sides of the court. The lakers on the other hand are spending tons of money/kobe / dantoni on pieces that no longer fit into the lakers organization not kobe more dantoni. This team could do some damage if they had a coach that had better defensive systems. But they dont play defence. But i think the brother was talking about the organization as a whole. Either way, In my opinion both teams are in such a big market that they have the bankroll to sign 2 solide free agents each and become a playoff team in a year. Its not the same as a Portland team rebuilding or any other teams.. both theses teams hve $$$ and they wont shy away from using it this summer and nxt in the huge free agency.
