i agree that BKN +5 @ home is a strong play.

the casual perception of the two teams, a #1 vs. #8 seed is that ATL is far superior. in reality, the teams are much closer (as the 3-2 series score indicates).

i believe the line is usually shaded slightly toward the public favorite to "trap" bettors into laying more points than they should.

But if you expect a long term dough which you cant get in other professional careers, you are wasting your time flipping coin.

NBA is incredibly difficult to win long term because so many games end up landing right on the line and that's why it becomes a coin flip.

I bet mostly college sports - particularly 2nd half totals. There is an actual edge based on the situation/motivation/psychology of those involved that creates more value for a particular side.

Well it's a lot later than the last time I checked in. The problem is the gap between the two clubs, favoring Atlanta, has widened considerably as well.

Wonder how the Atlanta backers are taking your 'warning'? Guess you had better hope for one hell of a fourth quarter from Brooktown. Otherwise you'll most likely acquire the heading 'TOUT'.
