Jordan is one of my all time favs when growing up, but look at the team around him when he one those championships, Lebron finally has a good pt guard and a decent big man a formula for a championship

You're watching a team getting dismantled that won 47games. Yes, in a weak Eastern Conference, but Cleveland is THAT amazing, because of LeBron, AND some great coaching (Wally is right).

You are not being honest with yourself. He is Jordan before winning all those championships, except that he's WAY more composed at the same point.

the 4 and/or 3 that they get should be the third or maybe the 2nd scorer and Mo Williams should then be the teams third best scorer and distribute the ball a little more.

Just my opinion....Cavs are strong right now.....but they can get stronger...hopefully their front court will not be intoxicated by their season so far and realize that their is some kinks in their armour (roster).

What the hell do you want??? There is a salary cap you know. They have built a damn good team around LeBron. Sure there are weak spots but all teams have them. There's only 1 ball to go around last I checked. Damn.

And I hate player comparisons and who is better than who, etc. LeBron and Jordan have different styles. Let's just say Jordan is one of the best of all time and LeBron has the potential to be as well.

All-time??? And he JUST won his 1st MVP and STILL hasnt won a title yet...you are jumping the gun waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too early on this one. He has a VERY long way to go before he even gets close to MJ, or even Kobe for that matter.

Look at his numbers when he played the Lakers this season, they shut his ass down...

The Hawks? Seriously, THE HAWKS??? Dont be fooled by performances against far inferior opponents like the Hawks...also, his numbers are GREAT, but, they are seriously inflated. LBJ put up a lot of those numbers because he HAS TO carry his team, Kobe on the other hand now defers a lot to his teammates and his numbers are STILL almost identical to Lebrons. Kobe is still the better FT shooter, turns the ball over fewer times, and is still a better straight up defender even though LBJ has greatly improved in that area. Also, when it comes down to crunch time and you need a big bucket or for your main man to sink a couple FTs with the game on the line we all know who we want in that situation, its not even close. LBJ continues to choke when the pressure is actually on him...look at his FTs in key late game situations.

exactly....let's see him do 1, much less 6....then we can have this conversation. Until then, it's as premature as a 1 pound baby.

who would you take in a game of 21,

    kobe vs lebron

    lebron vs mj

    mj vs kobe

I'd take lebron all these then take kobe vs mj

mj is great and so is kobe and they are great shooters but lebron is a freak of nature.  he will only get better and better.  he is a Mack fucking truck.

If he does not win at least 3 championships in his career he does not even belong in the discussion because the talent in the NBA is not half as good as it was 10/20 years ago.

MJ is the greatest athlete of the last 100 century.

LJ has a chance to be the greatest athlete of the 1st 25 years in this century...but he has to win titles.

Until or unless he does that, the 1st Quarter of this century belongs to Tiger Woods.

Folks when you say he will go down better than Jordan then that means he is the or will be regarded as the greatest athlete of all-time, becuase that is exactly what the Sports Writers voted MJ as.

yea, but people just don't get it...

this is a handicapping site... for predicting!  the whole point is to get on his tail BEFORE he wins 6 of the next 8 championships...

but here you are saying let's wait and see, and THEN we'll call him the greatest...

what is the point of that?  what is the value?

know your shit... recognize it before everyone else, and take advantage... otherwise you are just another idiot who is a day late and a dollar short!

Lebron will take the reigns from Jordan as the greatest ever, and i promise you Jordan is smart enough to know that, just like he knew he would be the greatest era during his time, and Lebron knows it now...

by the time Jordan was Lebron's age how many EC championship games had he played in?  how many NBA championship games?  how many rings did he have?

cuz Lebron is gonna have 1 before he turns 25, and Jordan did not...

WJAT ?!? It's only the stubborn, close-minded adults that won't admit that we are watching a player that will be greater than Jordan ever was.

I'm 38, bro, and I WAS and still AM the HUGEST Jordan fan, but even I can admit the obvious ...

lebron is not only great on the court, but he watches film from the greats and he aspires to be one of the greatest.  don't forget that.  he has respect for every player before him, but he wants to be better than them.

That's the key point: he still wants to get better, and be better than all those before him. He has the hunger that Jordan had ... along with the maturity that Kobe didn't get for quite a while ...
