What bothers me, is for example that BostonFLY guy or whatever his username is that is preaching Lebron is the best ever bla bla bla...

His opinion, thats one thing...but multiple times he has aksked why I disagree and I have said how the East is terrible and has been terrible...and he said how the East is and has been strong bla bla...Well, I showed him last years standing when the #2 seed Cavs would have been then #7 in West and 3 Eas teams were below .500...and he replies with the same nonsense how I cant back up my comments...Well, I show records from last year and he continues his comments...See thats not opinions, thats just a person saying comments to stir the pot

I still dont get why you and others get so upset over "opinions" but so be it...Cavs have ZERO chance in my opinion...without the NBA clearly fixing it to do so...if they dont...blowout city

the thing is that youre not offering an opinion,youre offering maths....horrible,horrible,bad,atrocious maths that even the most optimistic argue-er for the warriors wud find hysterical and way off-base/inaccurate.....unfortunately maths is FACT-based,not opinion based......if you had have said that the warriors(or the west representative) were much,much better than the cavs or even that they were 10 times better then thats one thing...but to give a team no chance in a sports contest played at the top level??....you must not have watched sports before and seen the bizarre stuff that can happen or if you have youve gone and bumped your head and completely forgotten.

This has been an entertaining thread if nothing else. 

I'm glad someone finally said this about using team objectives when measuring individual performances. I find it annoying when people do that. 

Unless you're ready to admit that Robert Horry was a better basketball player than Michael Jordan (which of course he wasn't), or admit that Trent Dilfer was a better QB than Dan Marino (not even close), then stop using titles as the main criteria for an argument. 

I'm not sure which measure should be used, but I definitely know that using titles as the sole, or main, criteria when evaluating individual players is flawed.

You, and many others, made the comment how its not fair to talk about the Cavs, or Lebron, and how awful the East is now and how that takes away from his "greatness" because the East has no competition...and how much tougher the West is

You then said, how nobody talks about how "easy" it was for Jordan because when he played the East was weaker and the West was "much" stronger....

So, if the West was so much stronger when Jordan was playing, why did he never lose in the finals?  Weird huh

this is the same dude thinking that the panthers wud romp home in the superbowl(i dont even watch football and i bet the broncos),and the same dude that "wasnt impressed"with wat lebron did in last years finals.

it dont get no better than this.....4 or 5 separate ocassions ive asked him to reconsider his ridiculous assertion that the cavs have "ZERO" chance to win the title this year.....but hey,he knows better,right??

im pretty certain maths aint his strongest point.

Im still not impressed, nor has my opinion changed  Cavs were handed the series after 3-1 to get to game 7, and played better tonight.  In fact, the only thing that changed was how good GS actually is.  

As for your comment avout my bad plays.  You obviously havent followed me long on this site.  Any time you feel like doing a challange heads up...lets talk...$500 a game tough guy.

Second of all...I have no changed from my thought on the Cavs or finals or winner since the middle of the year...I said Cavs have NO chance and GS wins in 5...I said that up until the time Green was suspended...I then before game 5 said its obvious the NBA wants 7 games

Fact is, They would have to play 4 series like that during the playoffs instead of just once a year because the East is so pathetic.  They played a great game 7 and GS played a poor one.  Thats life.
