also, if only picks are what's important, why you write 20000+ character write ups, when the pick only takes a sentence?

    you're a walking oxymoron.

If someone quotes a trend incorrectly with a thread they started they therefore have money on that game?

Listen here, my posts with my picks would have you reading till you croak. They aren't one liners.

I'll make sure my next one is a winner to bury you deeper than a Titantic chandelier under sea sediment.

How will you bury me? I don't wager on any games you write up...

Whatever, I'll be there to see it.

    Picks aren't what's important!

The justification behind them is. And I have justification for each one to fill the Library of Congress to its ceiling panels.

Otherwise, we'd praise people for winning 5 in a row at roulette playing the outside.

Sometimes they lose. I'm not a psychic. But you'll get your money's worth as far as a perspective when you open my threads.

Interestingly enough, I'm in charge of my money. I don't have to do anything. If I cap the game and it warrants a fade of you, so be it.

    Thanks.

I dont get why people are so mad. The point is to provide insight to win us some money. You either follow or fade no one forces you to follow. If someone could predict a winner for every game they wouldnt be here. Scal I'll wait for your next writeup. Ive won more money than lost so its all gravy.

I usually wouldnt pass up 16 points myself. 90% of the time when i tease ( i only play open teases) i take a dog and add on the points.  I just knew the Knicks had a good chance of getting blown out.  I figured if they were going to lose by where the line was set (+10) then they would lose big.  didnt think it was going to be an 8-12 point game.  It was gonna be either close or a blow out.  So -4 had more vaule than +16 too me.  Crazy huh?  it worked i guess, this time.

Hope you rebound tonight bro.  keep doing what your are doing.  we are here to help each other. good luck

you're smart. you realize hitting 50% at a break even of 42% line weight is money in the bank?

confuscious say stray beyond spread pick, there money to be made everywhere.

    My January Accounting for NHL.

    MONTHLY TOTAL

    Paid out: $20,129.75
    ROI: 10.91%
    Mean Line Wagered: 138
    W-L-P: 128-129-9

I post everyday in the sty. so don't even start with this undocumented, now you post it drivel.

Only the Knicks can make +16 look bad (all the while, the bucks go into Indy last night with +16 NOT TEASED in the biggest line of the season, and they get within, not 16, but the 10 the Knicks were getting. This is the BUCKS, a certified tanking team!)

see you at a statistically relevant sample size.

there's a reason your huge lines are getting blown out.

Now I'm not saying that scals an expert or tout, but he provides, again I can't stress this enough, ENTERTAINMENT about his picks. Come on man you're starting to make me think that you have something against this guy personally. Stalker much?

I have a personal issue with him blatantly lying. yes. I do.

I've never touched a pick, which, up to this point, is unfortuante, because he's cliping right along.

I don't think you understand the point I'm trying to get across. You know there are a lot of people out there who don't follow or even consider someone's plays unless there's actual information to back it up. Who wants to go into someone's thread and see just their picks? Unless they're documented and doing very well, I can justify you saying that picks can be based on one sentence alone. But, and this is a big BUT, people prefer to see reason behind it and the entertainment value. That's the bottom line. ENTERTAINMENT. So if you have a problem with the attention he is getting even though last nights pick was a loss, why don't you start creating your own threads and deter from his and create your own entertainment without bashing. That's all I've seen from you so far in this thread.

    I can appreciate this post.

It's not the entertainment or attention he's getting, not at all. It's his disposition, and double speak.

even in this thread, he quotes a post about Knicks ATS results from an SDQL search where the query SUPPORTED his pick, then lambasted the post I made, which pointed out the irrelevance of small sampling. Then, he continues on about trends:

"It's all about an appropriate cut off point, and that is as arbitrary as it gets"

But, here again, it's cherry picking. But then posted an 0-9 ATS spred in 18 size font.

it's just a fcuking drama factory with this guy, with zero regard for integrity.

Sorry y'all don't read between the lines.

Now I'm blatantly lying but he has not a shred of proof that I am.

Then he runs a query and puts it up against a book of a write up and goes, " There see! This is relevant, that isn't! "

But he only comes back and says that if the pick loses, which I will of course lose sometimes, and it is at THAT MOMENT, he'll scream to the high heavens about 'integrity.'

You are a very sick individual.

Looks like the Knicks just give up when it gets to 12-15 +.  Sometimes they work themselves out of it for it to only happen again like last night.  They came back in the 1H and i think were down 5.  Then the Heat got ahead again in the 2nd half and they just gave up  When they get down for a second time they are done.  Must hurt to be a Knicks fan right now but I'm a Celtics fan so we are in the same boat.  Boston radio was talking last night saying if the Celts got Love they can lure another player here.  One of the players was Melo. lol  Melo would never come to Boston but think of that trio.........Rondo,Love and Melo.  That would be sweet.

The query was to prove a point. But here again, your confirmation bias tells you that your tunnel vision is spot on capping.
