i am not disputing that lebron will get more rings or not,,,, he probably will...  the getting ring earlier debate.....  is not a good one, why? because lebron entered the nba right after high school at age 18... jordan spent 2 yrs at north carolina before entering draft..    it took jordan 6 nba seasons   lebron took 9

Scooby who cares, it doesnt matter. LeBron still got his ring in an earlier age, and that makes him capable of getting more rings than Jordan.

 

Not necessarily true he will have had more miles on his body, kobe for example is 33 but it seems he is older cuz of miles he has on legs.  and its gona b interesting when lbj loses a step with age and cant just blow by people

I agree with you.  If Lebron wanted to be out of Cleveland, he should said so early so Cavs have the opportunity to trade him or at least grab other players during the free agency.  Lebron was the last player in free agency to 'announce' which team he was going to go.  By the time he departed, there was no one in the league to pick up other than scrubs.  That is why Cavs lost so much games the following year and was able to pick up Kylie Irving. 

The Decision and The Arrival was one of the most absurd thing I ever seen.  That was his childish fantasy ego going wild.  I thought it was a reality TV show! 

At least Melo gave Denver some value by doing a trade.  Denver got a lot of players back from Melo which kept the team in contention. 

But Lebron has grown up a lot.  Last year's lost to Dallas woke up the beast and he knew what he had to do.  He took Miami under his wing, stripped Wade of being the leader of the team and turned MIA into his team.  Yes, that sound negative but IT WAS THE RIGHT THING TO DO.  That was the difference between last year's playoff run and this year's playoff run.  GOOD JOB, Lebron.

Heat will be a dynasty in 4 more years.  I can't see anyone (NOT EVEN OKC at this point) can stop Heat.  OKC have their own problems with signing players.  I highly doubt Ibaka and Harden would accept a small salary to play.  The team needs a 3 point threat and a real PG. 

I am a Knicks fan and seeing the lineup we got, we are not even close to be in Heat's class.  Melo is fat and slow compared to Lebron.  Amare's a baby and he can't handle Bosh.  WhoTheFu<k can handle Wade?  Iman Shumpert's a great defender but he's out for half of next year.  Bull's a joke of a team and it looks like DRose injury will just mount as time comes.  Plus, the team is all about DRose and that's not the winning formula. 

With players like JKidd, SNash, DFisher, RAllen (just to name a few), They would gladly play for lesser money to get a shot at another ring. Only Heat and maybe OKC can attempt to get these players for a bargain for the championship run. 

To be honest, for the past few years I started not likely the NBA because it's all about uniting and grouping together to form a super team.  Houston did it with Drexler (Although, I really didn't think they needed him but Drexler and Hakeem were buddy buddy so I guess it was meant to be).  Lakers forming Shaq and Kobe with Horry on the background.  Celtics forming the big three.  Heat forming Shaq and Wade and now again with Wade, Lebron and Bosh.  The only teams that I was most impressed with were Spurs and Detroit.  Detroit won one with dedicated blue collar team and Spurs with a great draft pickups and home grown Duncan, Manu and Parker along the way.

Lebron James will forever be a coward & somebody who lacks in grace & competitiveness to many people no matter how many championships he wins!! The world has been witnesses to what his done, what he had to do and how he acts in times of success. You say people who critic him are 'haters' or 'hating' - that is so tiresome and redundant. Fact is he has given many reasons to why people criticize him & he continues to do so. He brought it upon himself. Look @ his MVP speech and look @ his video post after winning the championship. The world is supposed to like this guy!!? Sorry guys. that ain't cool no matter how you try to justify it.

You judge a man by how he handles success and how he handles failure. Unfortunately he fails in both circumstances. He's a champion, 2 times yes he is - but a majority of people are not impressed and will never be!!

Deal w/ it Lebron Fans. Just enjoy the ship and walk away. Why try to convince people when it will always be a losing battle.

Wade was cool until this whole Big 3 fiasco. All of a sudden he's flopped more than he ever has, complained more than he ever has and acted immature and some times out right embarrassing more than he ever has in this Big 3 era. He used to be so humble, he used to let his game speak for itself.......now he thinks he is deserving of everything. Before he worked hard for it or just put his head down and just played the game. How horribly he has become. If he continues to evolve in this manner he won't have much fans supporting him by the end of his career. & this is coming from a former fan.

how can anyone compare lebron's situation compared to durants situation? durant was drafted and the very next year okc drafted westbrook and built their team arnd those to players..oh n how did cavs go? apart from drafting lebron what have they ever done for him?? nothing absolutely nothing. and everyone knew he was getting nowhere and will never get any where in cav. why should he waste his talent in a team that did nothing to help him win a championship ring. honestly he can make millions in any team. he was loyal to the cavs for 7 years yet everyone gives him crap because he leaves? seriously why are everyone else forgetting other players leaving there teams in search for a championship. kevin garnet come to mind? how many years was he loyal to the timberwolves and got no where? 12 years! guess what happened to him, oh traded to boston. guess what happened he finally won his well deserved ring. ppl are hating lebron because he actually made a right decision for his career? we all know what would happen to lebron if he stayed in cav, his career would be much like garnetts, never having a chance to advance in his career and then finally after a decade of loyalty to his team, traded to another team when his old and past his prime.

oh and those who compares lebron to mj, mj was drafted by the bulls a championship franchise. lebron was drafted by cavs. a franchise that has never won a nba championship. seriously even mj is not good enough to win a nba championship if he was drafted by the cavs
