Wrong. A good example is, take a look at Heats game. They can have a 10 point lead, but look, as soon as Lebron is pulled out of the game they are likely to blow this 10 point lead within a few minutes. On the other hand, what happens when OKC pulls out KD to rest him? Nothing. They can still keep their lead. That is the difference. Miami Heat would be lucky to be found in the playoffs without Lebron, OKC would still be a hell of a good team without Durant.

If you take LeBron off Heat what are they?  If you take LeBron off Cavs what were they?  Not looking to starting something but 6 in one half a dozen in the other.

This speaks to how valuable each is to their team (which I think you are under appreciating Durant's value to the Thunder but that is a different argument in itself). This does not speak to who one would rather have on a team. I still say that I would rather have a clutch stud in Durant than Lebron.

Value and best player are different discussions. This is one thing that I find so frustrating about the MVP. It seems that many people view MVP as best player as opposed to most valuable player.

But would you rather have just Durant for first 3 Qs?

But would you rather have just Durant for first 3 Qs?

It is also funny how people are implying that James has no support. Shit he is part of "the big three" isn't he? Since when is having Wade and Bosh not having support?

Bitter Bulls fan I take it?  Lebron has no off the court issues and plays hard every night.  The hatred for Lebron is getting old and tiresome.  How bout we just watch the finals and then we can see where Lebron stands after the series is over.

No, i was just talking to all those that claimed that Durant is better because "OKC are winning at the moment"

Durant is valuable to his, thats not what im saying, but its not like they would go broke without him. Miami would without lebron.

Actually, I am not a Bulls fan.  Yeah I root for them, but not a die-hard.  Just a fan of all basketball.

Whats amazing on this site, is that all these people claim others are "Lebron Haters" all because we arent on our knees licking his sack and crowning him the best ever.

Just because you dont think someone is the best ever, or even agree with his actions doesnt mean you are a hater.

Its a discussion forum, people will disgree.  Its amazing that if someone disagrees, they are a "hater"

It's ok to disagree. But then your arguments must be valid. It's just dumb to state that Howard is a better bballer than lebron if u have nothing to back it up... And durant too for that case..

Lebron is just an egomaniac like Jordan all over. (Who by the way doesn't pay his gambling debts).

I collect autographs. KD always signs, last time he signed in the fucking rain. Most people had splotches all over their pictures lol.

I've heard from fellow autographers, Lebron signed a teenager's team ball in black sharpie on the Spalding logo. Not to mention he doesn't sign hardly ever. That shows what kind of person Lebron is. He acts fake and innocent in front of the media, but behind closed doors he is a hideous asshole (like Kobe) who thinks he's God's gift to humanity and will stab you in your back any chance he can get. Oh yeah so the guy can shoot 52.03% from the field...Big deal. I'll take class over showmanship any day.

Some of these guys are the rejects of society, they can't even interact properly with other humans.

    End Rant Start Durant

Plenty of people bring up very valid agruments.

Just because the "Lebron haters" dont annoint him the King, doesnt mean they are hating.

By the way, he did this all to himself.

I have stated in every thread I think he is the best in the NBA.  But, a stat stuffer doesnt make you a leader or a champion.

Wade won a ring, with far inferior talent.

The Big 3 put on their circus and parade saying they would win 8, be the best ever.  They have NO chance

Lebron did this all to himself.

He is the best athlete the NBA has ever seen.

What gets me so upset, and I guess makes me a "hater" is that when Miami wins, its ONLY because Lebron.  But, when they lose its the coach of lack of support.

In the Bost series, all everyone talks about is game 6.  Well guess what, they won 4 games!!!  Lebron didnt explode in all 4.  He had help But, you dont hear about any of that.

Heck, last night, Chalmers and Battier get 29 points.  They wont score 29 in the next 2 games combined.  Yet, evern with that help, now everyone says Wade and Bosh stink.

Guess what people, its basketball.  What are the chance that 5-6 people contribute at the same time???  Slim to none.

Heck, harden scored 5 points.  I didnt look it up, but I am guessing that was his lowest total all year.  Game 1 in the finals and the 3rd best player scores his worst game of the year??  Ok City didnt miss a beat.

I have no problem with people "loving" Lebron James, but its out of control.

The guy has nothing to show for all his stats.

Like it or not, its about rings.  Lebron has none.  You cant even begin to discuss the best ever, without 2-3 rings, let alone 1.  If that makes me a "hater" thats fine.

It amuses me all the heat Spol is getting.  Do you think when the Bulls lost playoff games, Jackson or Kerr or Purdue or Grant took heat???  No, it was Jordan.

Fact is though, Jordan didnt allow that to happen.  Jordan made everybody around him that much better.  I dont rememeber the stat, but the Bulls were like 19-6 or 19-7 ATS in finals games.

Everyone keeps saying look at Lebrons stats, the best ever stats.  Sure they look good.

But guess what.  In the 4th qtr last night, it was a tie game.  Durant scored 17 points while James scored 7 on 1-5 shooting.

If you are going to praise and crown him as the best ever, admit when he fails time after time in the 4th qtr

The team is SHIT without him. Why would you want to play for that team? If it wasn't for lebron then that team wouldn't even had made playoffs. Try putting yourself in his shoes and tell me would you have stayed with that team? You  might say yes right now because you ain't lebron. But trust me nobody would.
