saw that monday. man was a true American hero. probably could have risen to General IF he had stayed in the Army. Chris Mathews mentioned his passing in his "let me finish" comments tuesday decrying the lack of leaders like him in 21st century society.
they STILL use Winters platoon's assault on the German gun position in Normandy as a training problem at West Point.
