A cartoon movie, from the late 70's probably. I'm pretty sure it was aimed at adults. Kinda like 'Heavy Metal'..I have two similar memories...
A bird helps a hurt animal. He scratches the ground and his scratch marks fill with water because the ground is wet.
Also, I assume from the same movie..A bird drops stones into a bottle(?) to make the water level rise in order for him to reach the water with his beak.
It's been driving me crazy for years trying to remember where I saw these scenes.
