It's how he manipulates a scene or reality and forces you to see it in a most unusual way. He's used hypnotism as a way to get the actors in a certain trance-like state.... ah whatever, his documentaries and early works are phenomenal. I'm interested in how Bad Lieutenant will hit me. Check out "Even Dwarfs Started Small" and "Fata Morgana" and "Little Dieter Needs to Fly."
