Well I finally rented and watched this movie. You seriously have to be kidding me, this mutt was worthy of an Oscar? I seriously asked Blockbuster for a refund or credit on something else it was so bad.
The storyline was absolutely brilliant. A guy walking atround with a bottle of compressed air shooting nails at anybody that crossed his path....magnificant.

Searchwarrant, I couldn't agree more. I hated this movie. Just super boring if you ask me. The most ridiculous part of the movie was the guy that found the money from the drug deal or whatever gone wrong, then decides to go back at night to give some guy that is dying some water. Who would ever do that? No one. Also, I think the guy with the compressor was just shooting air from what I believe, which wouldn't work.

No offense Rickey, and I rarely ever ever ever go to a theatre to see a flick, but No Country was good at home to see, and I see the merits of the intensity of it as far as awards go for it.
Anything Coen Brothers will add to people thinking it's an artistic marvel.
Yes, I certainly agree that there were more worthy flicks for those awards............
btw, Weekend At Bernie's was good. But that is my opinion not shared by many others......
