We were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank

That's the title of the new Modest Mouse CD, been out for a couple of months...meant to make a post about it when it first came out....anyway its amazing, one of those CD's you can actually listen to all the way through and really enjoy.  MM is one of my favorite bands, Johnny Marr former guitarist of the Smiths joined them for this album...tracks to check out are Dashboard, Florida, Fire it Up, We've Got Everything

i have not listened to it yet - i've been a huge Mouse fan since 98 or so, but after the last album and their signing to a major label they just aren't the same -

just curious if you are familiar with their early stuff

tito40, i love their older stuff too...wasn't a fan of them until about 3-4 years ago in all honesty...but either way i think they're great

sens - i got to take a listen - i was also curious to see if newer fans like the old stuff, or are even aware of it, had no idea - but glad to hear you like the old stuff too - you ever heard Ugly Cassanova? That's MM doing a collaboration with a couple other bands - its pretty good too

musburger - that's what a lot of my friends say about MMouse

tito, haven't heard Ugly Cassanova, thanks for the info though man...i'll see if i can dig up some of the tracks, i'm sure i'll like it
