new drama on the SyFy (SciFi) channel about a secret government warehouse when they keep potentially dangerous supernatural objects and artifacts that could "threaten to ruin the world's whole day". saw the pilot monday and the first chapter tuesday and am hooked. it's kind of a combination of The X-Files, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Men in Black. Saul Rubinek plays the eccentric warehouse curator Artie Nielson who is kind of a combination of Indiana Jones and Men in Black's Kay.
I think people that enjoySciFi in general and X-Files style plots (only with more humor) in particular would definately like this show. it's on tuesday nights on the SyFy network ( I guees they changed the name from The SciFi Network so some artie-smartie yuppy-puppy could justify his or her job)

in case anyone is interest (with 25 reads and Iw1nBets , probably not), SyFy is running the first four shows of the series in a "mini-marathon" thursday august 6th.
I think the shows have been very good esp the last two weeks BUT I'm a big fan of this type of show.

This show is kind of a rip-off of that Friday the 13th show from the early 90's or late 80's. They had to track down possessed antiques that were sold from some antique shop. It had absolutly no connection to the movie series except for the name. It was really bad- will watch it for a little while if its on for sh*ts and giggles. Bad acting, bad production value, bad etc...
Warehouse 13 is pretty good though. Two main leads work well together.

the one last night where Myka was trapped inside Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland" mirror and the evil Alice takes here place in the real world I think was the best of the series so far.
I also like the addition of Allison Scagliotti as Claudia to the cast. she reminds me of a series 7 licensed secretary we had at a brokerage firm I worked for in 1980. same pushy but usually right personality.
