You are way behind here. They have already started on the prequel and soon they will get on to season 3 with a new actor playing spartacus.

I loved Spartacus.

I haven't had a chance to watch the "prequel." It shows the early days of the House of Battiatus. I am looking forward to it.

Tell me if I'm right.

First Season: Blood & Sand

Second Season: God of Arena

Confirmation, anyone?

Well yes and no. Technically Gods of the Arena will air as a prequel to Blood and Sand.

It will be followed by a season that deals with the gladiators revolt.

all due to spartacus getting cancer. i think he is suppose to be back for a 3rd season. the had to go prequel bc he couldnt shoot during chemo. the intention once blood and sand did well was to make a sequel.
