Trouble with the Curve

Just watched the latest Clint Eastwood movie, - Trouble with the curve.

 Thought it was OK............typical of Clint movies these days........mostly about interpersonal relationships.

Indeed, btw going back to see the Wall this summer.. he upped the setup now so it fits a stadium and not an indoor arena.

Mikael,  Eastwood has a amazing career with huge ups and downs. The start with "Rawhide" was good. Everyone loved the themes with "Rowdy Yates"   Young buck just out of the Army who caught a break. Got to drive a herd of cows to acting  recognition

I thought Grand Torino was good , but i think nature will take its turn. He is 82 so i do not see him doing more than 1 maybe 2 more movies.

Then he was terrible as a actor in the "Dirty Harry" garbage shows.

 Ya, those "Dirty Harry" police dramas really KILLED Eastwood's movie career

I thought the movie was just okay. My memory isn't the best but I would say his best movies were:

 Should be excellent.............I'm somewhat pissed that I didn't know he was gonna double-back to Seattle. I would've much rather seen the show at the Key Arena instead of the Tacoma Dome............couldn't get anyone to buy tix with me for the 2nd show so I skipped it.

You're right. Just watched it. Was beginning to dose off half way through. Awful movie.

I think most everyone DID like the ending where the arrogant high school star "power hitter"gets exposed by the Hispanic pitcher kid "Peanut Boy" as having "trouble with the curve". THAT was EXCELLENT and the only decent story line in the movie. too bad we had to sit thru almost two hours of "tripe" to get to it

Gran Torino was worth watching.   I wish he would play a evil role just to do something different.   

I can watch anything with Amy Adams. 

This movie sucked.
