saw it this afternoon...i normally love Michael Bay big budget summer action flicks....but this one let me down a little....overall i would still say it is worth going to see but it could have been better

i will also add that i grew up watching the cartoon and i had all the toys and stuff when i was a little kid...maybe i was a little to excited to see this movie and it did not live up to the hype in my eyes...dont know

I thought it was a really good movie. It had a lot of action and wafare. The transforming looked really smooth and they made it so fast that I just loved it everytime. I think it's definitely been the best of the summer blockbusters. 9/10 for me

maybe i was a little to hard on it....i did enjoy it and i did say it was worth going to see...did you guys catch all the goofs? one thing i will say about Bay is he needs to spend more time in the editing room.

Well, just saw it tonight. Expected very little considering the director and the material. I probably would not of seen it had others not encouraged me to attend.
Its a long flick, though its highly entertaining so it flies by. Has doses of humor in the right spots, and delivers some thrilling action.

I've had two friends tell me it was utter garbage. Here are some excerpts the ygave me:
"they of course had this stereotypical speech optimus prime made at the end talking about how america accepts them and equality and shit. bla hblah blah. "
"all i can say for michael bay is the writers ruined it just as much as he did. and also the cg and the fighting were really badass. but the rest of it just brought the whole movie down. "
"they made jokes about how the bots adapted to our way of talking so optimus prime steps on a fountain and hes liek "oh, my bad!". "
"and one of his bots also talks liek fifty cent"
"like the kids tryign to hide the transformers from his parents and his mom walks in and thinks hes masturbating and says all nicely "oh its okay, its natural, will leave you alone sam. you can have your 'sams happy time'" . "

I think its a movie that if you wanted to scrutinize it, you probably could...I mean come on its a movie about a robots(that was created to sell toys)..
Does every joke and gag hit, nope...but i was prepared to rip this movie apart, but I found myself enjoying it for the most part..
