But what movie would you like to see a remake of and who would you put in the starring roles?

Since Hollywood no longer has an original idea and needs to rely on remakes, sequels and movies based on books, I'll go with Top Gun.

modern version of classic movies like jaws or close encounters would be interesting

A Jaws remake would be horrible. I can just see it........A fake looking CGI shark, someone like Colin Farrell playing the Chief Brody role, and then they make the Hooper role a female for some eye candy to sell tickets.

as I stated in a previous thread I'm pretty much old school when it comes to movies so I don't think any remakes will be as good as the original but maybe a new Beverly Hills Cop,Death Wish ,Lethal Weapon,Dirty Harry may be interesting
