Lets see.... an in-depth series of docs about 2 of the most progressive presidents running on the ProgressiveBroadcastSystem which taxpayers have already paid for through the CorporationforPublicBroadcasting. No thanks I know how the story ends and I bet the underBaltimore which I don't know how it ends and will cause me less angst as I watch.

have watched the 1st three and there was a lot of unknown family history so far. don't know how so called "conservatives" can call TR a "liberal". the guy was always looking to go to war over anything and was a pure "imperialist". FDR when he was young before the polio got him was as much a "horn dog" as JFK was 4 decades later
interesting show so far

You're right Teddy,Franklin, and Eleanor were all friggin' Neo-Cons and the 2nd Bill of Rights was just the doodlings of a drunken weekend.Words have meaning but are useless if they are misused.

finally finished all 7 parts. had a LOT of common knowledge about FDR and the New Deal and WWII BUT also a LOT of info I didn't know about both Roosevelt family's personal lives. found the last hour of part 7 interesting about Eleanor's life and works after Franklin's death. the woman basically started the United Nations
btw, IF FDR's third term VP Henry Wallace had succeeded him instead of Harry Truman, I am pretty sure this country would have had universal healthcare during his term

The entire history of this country since 44 would of been different if Wallace had been VP. For better or worse...
Even with FDR's endorsement, which is as influential as it got back then, he still didn't make the ticket. I think that says something about how disliked he was within his own party
