What a waste. This movie was beyond bad. It is 2 hours of Viggo and his son wandering around deserted earth looking for food. Don't waste your time

the book was awesome.....I feel obligated to see the movie. This is the first bad review I have read.

Well i think the book is more in tune with Nevil Shut's - On The Beach.

Which would be less action and more somber/thoughtful story. Not for everyone.

i wonder what happens to the kid after the end of the movie?

was that family really nice or ummm you know "dinner is served"?

 

but overall i thought it was ok....not great by any means, but not ALL that bad

i watched an advance copy on blu-ray....doubt i would have gone to see it in the theaters

This should have never been made into a movie.  This was meant to be read.

I liked the movie so much that I'm now reading the book.  Wow.  This guy is a great writer.
