Writing is great. Basilone, Sledge, and Lecke are national heroes and the stories are taken directly from their memoirs.
I personally thought Part 3 was good.
Part 1: B+
Part 2: A-
Part 3: B
Part 4: B-
Looks like Part 5 is going to focused on Eugene Sledge, another WW2 hero that too many Americans don't know about.
Anyone who hasn't seen it yet, I strongly recommend to watch it and develop your own opinion.

100% agreement Icap, Absolute garbage. I do however tape and watch it to see if it can possibly get any worse.
Oh and they are stealing music and scenes from Thn Red Line. Ptitiful.
