Scarface (1932) on Turner Classic Movies Friday Jan 21st @ 6:30 pm pacific time.
Paul Muni plays the title role in this third of the early "Gangster Trilogy" which included "Little Caeser" (1930 - Edward G. Robinson) and "The Public Enemy" (1931 - James Cagney) which set the standard for the Hollywood "gangster movie" genre.
worth watching (and collecting) if for no other reason to compare to the 1983 re-make with Al Pacino as Tony.
and you get an original gangster "double header" as E G Robinson's "Little Caeser" plays right after @ 8:15 pm pst
