The Heartbreak Kid is not quite as good as I thought it was going to be. I, having ranted now for seven paragraphs, am no closer to unlocking the secret appeal of Stiller as a neurotic imbecile, and it matters little, as you will disagree and pay to see it. And, inevitably, it will make boatloads of money because Stiller scrunched up his eyebrows at something that he can't understand. We will go about our lives living and laughing at different things; you may even look fondly on The Heartbreak Kid as a formative experience like my trailer viewing was back in 1998. But think of it this way: remembering watching a ten-year-old trailer should not be funnier than actually watching
