Worse movie I have ever paid to see. I was waiting for it too. Everyone coming out of the packed movie was vocal about what a piece of crap this was. Usually I can find something positive about any movie. Well, I can't with this one. I think M. Knight might have made it terrible on purpose. I can't think of any other reason this movie could be this bad.

His movies since 6th sense have gone downhill, Signs was OK until the end when it got cheezy and the Village was god awful, I was looking forward to seeing this flick but I may just wait for the DVD

I haven't seen the film but I have to say that in the previews Wahlberg's clips of him being frightened just turn out with him looking goofy instead. I doubt I go see this one

worst movie I have ever seen hands down.....almost left early.......Im going to spoil it bc I really dont care about blowing this piece of shit film for any1 it was that bad.......the plants are whats killing every1 haha. They sense humans and realize there destroying the earth or something and have the wind blow something there way that makes them kill themselves. I paid 10 bucks to watch 200 shitty suicides that resulted from an oak tree haha?

I have to agree with everything in this thread....
this movie sucked major ass.....when the little girl was swinging from the tree someone in the theater yelled "get off before it attacks you" now while that does not really sound funny....everyone laughed at the comment since we were all bored out of our minds

the funny thing is I was in this movie. I was on the train, about 7 rows in in front of where Zoey Deschanel was sitting, and I was there for about 2 days of shooting. I am not visible, but there is one scene where the film zooms in on an indian woman holding her son on the train, and I was sitting only a few rows in front of that woman. I really thought this film had potential, but yes, it is awful. Wahlberg sucks too, which is ashame because he had finally won me over as an actor. Real nice guy though. Oh well, this summer Im an extra in Transformers 2, hopefully that will be better!

hmm i got paid to be an extra so im happy! when we filmed it it was mid summer in philly and no ac on the train and we had just shot the scene at the train station where everyones running around frantic not knowing whats going on and the sun was beaming right down on us, everyone had sweat pouring down their foreheads so i am actually very thankful that the camera did not catch me

Just got home from seeing this movie and I have to say that someone should shoot me for taking my wife to see this piece of shit on our anniversary. What a freakin waste of time and money.

for those that did see it, question for you, something that has been bugging me, do you think the acting was done that way on purpose? Like it's clearly terrible simplistic acting and the script is terrible and simplistic but do you think it was done in such a way to make the overall feel of the movie even more creepy.
Idk I still havent' decided what to think of this film, other than it was one of the strangest movies I have ever seen.
