The Firm

Anyone watching the firm? 4 episodes in, i really like it.

I really like it too...i like how they move ahead 4 weeks then go back 4 weeks then show it again at the end

I like it, but it's gonna get canceled. I try not to get into shows that will be canceled. :-\

why do u think that?

the ratings, from a very reputable ratings site..."But because Sony made NBC a super cheap deal for all 22 episodes of The Firm, and NBC isn't likely to have good (if any) alternatives for its Thursday time slot, it may stay on the schedule this season for quite some time. What's certain is that by the end of this season it will be canceled and not return to NBC (it's future outside the US isn't something I'm concerned with)" It might stick around the rest of this season, but not likely past it.

no Lawyer shows ever last past 1 season

NBC and ABC are horrible networks

I like the show a lot. Good cast. I think his brother is an excellent actor and Mitch's wife is hot in that milfish sort of way.

the amount of shows those networks pick up and cancel is mind boggling

The Practice and its spin off Boston Legal both did quite well.

if this show tanks then i can think of 3 that didn't

the ratings from last week Mentalist 2.9, Private Practice 2.1, The Firm .09....NBC sucks, but they won't take a beating this bad in the ratings. Like I said before I like the Firm, but the ratings point to it not being around long.

I like it too.  But that's the kiss of death.  Every new show that I like lately gets canceled and NBC is the worst with that.  Still pissed that they yanked The Event how they did.

they just took of prime suspect can they really afford to replace this show so fast?

they may not yank it quick due to it being so cheap, but long term I don't think it will last. I see it being canceled with many questions not being answered and never finding out what happens. The days of giving shows a chance like Cheers and Seinfeld are gone. Both of those started very slow but were given a chance.

Yep...I totally agree...they had a show on the other day that lasted 2 episodes while the canceled the show before it after 8

got pulled from thursday and moved to saturday

this show is done
