Swing Vote (2008)

I was surfing thru the movie channels the other night and happened to watch a few minutes of this Kevin Costner, Kelsey Grammer, Dennis Hopper story about a New Mexico redneck (Costner) who find himself in the improbable situation of having the deciding vote in the Presidential election. the flip-flopping by the sitting Republican President who is running for re-election (Grammer) and Democrate challenger (Hopper) in order to get that vote is HILARIOUS!!! 13 year old Madeline Carroll as Coster's daughter Molly, really steals the show.

cameos by, Willie Nelson, Richard Petty and numerous Cnn, MSNBC and Fox political reporters and commentators.

it's in STARZ again Friday the 11th and Sunday the 13th

I was REALLY suprised just how FUNNY this movie was and would recommend it for anyone that likes "screwball" comedy.

I agree wholeheartedly..funny. Real good character development on Costner's redneck

This was a really well-written script and Costner has good comedic timing in movies that he doesn't direct. Real good sleeper of a film
