Yeah - I do remember that about the movie. Really slow but you'll get to a couple of scenes that are remarkably absurd and funny ( cue the midget ). The action does pick up nicely and ending is worth watching.

watch the remainder last night and the last 35 minutes is decent BUT sitting thru the first two thirds of the movie to FINALLY get to the true plot line makes it a
for me.
for me. Fair enough
. Not the conventional movie that's for sure. It's almost misleading to see such a popular actor star in this one.

It was slow but I found it to be funny at times. The chase scene was hilarious to me.
It is not as good as Snatch , not the same genre really but it had enough moments to make it worth watching
Not really a rewatchable movie though the way Snatch is

In Bruges was a hilarious movie imo. It had some great dialogue to it. It's not even close to the same type of movie as Snatch, except for the fact that the characters are from the UK. Snatch and Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels are both amazing movies. Very similar the way the all the different characters are connected. I give Snatch the slight edge.

have seen the beginning and ending of "Knockaround Guys" (2001) with Barry Pepper, Vin Diesel, Seth Green, John Malkovich and Dennis Hopper and it looked like a good mob story. had recorded in on my DVR and then the damn hard drive blew up SO I have to wait until it's on one of the premium channels again to see the whole thing. LOTS of ordnance at the end.
