There were two segments..the first was pretty good and the second was just ok.
The interesting part is that the people get to see real life of living and being poor and they help people using money of their own, and we arent talking small numbers..the first set gave 125k combined and the second gave 300k to people and organizations they worked with while in disguise..their OWN money.
Devils,

I guess its good for them and the people that they got $ and maybe I am just bitter because I lost my job last week.
I still think that a lot of these people (like Oprah) do good deeds only when the cameras are on them and the people that should be applauded are the ones that actually do their good deeds in secret. Although all good deeds help people so cameras or not it probably shouldn't make a difference to me

Well what was interesting is yeah the people were total snobs and clueless about reality, but especially the first set, they all live in lower class settings..its only a week though but you could tell it was an eye-opener for the participants and in both cases they really helped some people.
The first people gave 50k to a family who had a girl that was going through bone cancer, the kid was 8 yrs old maybe and you could tell these people didnt have the money to get her the treatment she needed. In the second the people were wealthy owners of some chicken tender franchise and they went to the Katrina area and met people who were doing rebuilding and donated 300k in total to groups there after working with them first under the guise of being poor themselves.
For how bad tv is lately, this show isnt bad..

I disagree NJ, at least about Oprah, I don't like her at all but she gives a ton considering there are tons of millionaires that don't do shit. She is in a business that has her every move on camera, not always her fault. Often times the added cameras just add exposure which could lead to others joining. Just sayin....hope you find work man, its tough out there, gl
