I liked the first episode, show looks pretty good. Always liked Bobby Cannavale and glad to see him get a lead role in a major show. He nailed it on this first episode.

Definitely, Billions is awesome. You watched Fargo too (FX show not the movie)? You'd like that also.
The Knick is another one I got into I really liked. Check that out also if you have time. Its on Cinemax which is pretty annoying but had it on HBO for a bit.

i watched the first episode of billions and thought it was pretty weak.
love fargo though. i'm halfway through season 2. very impressive that they could do such a good job with the coen brothers unique style especially in the more restrctive tv format.

Billions is an acquired taste and you'll probably find it boring if you don't do any stock trading or have any interest in the investment world. But if you like trading, you'll feel the rhythm of the show much better.

How about that new Stephen King show starring James Franco 11.22.63 ? That first episode was pretty darn good.

that's the thing, i'm very interested in the markets,, investing, etc. mostly, i'm interested in white collar crime and the DOJ. it's much of what i do for a living. after the first episode, i just felt it was kind of silly and presented on a low level.
i wish david simon or someone else very intelligent would do a show about this.
