Ryan Adams new album, "Easy Tiger"

Anyone else like Ryan Adams?  His new album will be out on June 26, 2007.  Getting some good reviews at this point, he is all over the place in life and in music, but I have mad respect for many of the songs he writes, I do believe he is the best songwriter of my generation, which I guess would be people turning 30 right about now.  Check him out if you have not already, he is very rock n roll and country all rolled into one.

Preffered the Whiskeytown/early solo stuff. Now, he has a bunch of songs and throws them onto an album. If he releaed an album once every 18 months, with the great stuff he will accumulate over that period he will have some real awesome albums. Now, much of it is just filler

very true, he is a bit too "against the mainstream", just for trying to be against the mainstream.  In other words, he clearly tries too hard to be that guy.  However, if you were to take the best songs off his last 5 or 6 albums and put them onto one album, it would be great stuff.

I am hoping he has matured and is turning a corner on this one.  By the title of the album, it seems like he is poking fun at himself, so usually that is the first step.

one more week until release, any other Ryan Adams opinions out there?
