You may want to do it. Roger has already said that after this tour he's finished touring for a few years at least.
i went to a Roger Waters concert and a political debate/crossfire broke out

Going to see him in tampa tonite; and it always slays me when people vent about him expressing his political views in his shows; he has been doing it in his music for years.

yeah but it's different when they have a monologue on stage
daytona, no?? some of my favorite bands write music about
political views some of which i don't even agree with or care about,
but i love the music because of their passion and everything they put
into it created great music.
drives me nuts when i go to a show and i have to deal with 20 mins of
them talking shit about what they believe in...i'd rather hear more
songs! just my .02

Yeah, I completely with you there Retburj. I love the music, but honestly I don't know if I would go see him if I had a chance. I'm not going to pay hundreds of dollars to hear half a concert on politics. I'll just buy the DVD and fast forward past the political stuff.

When did he do this? I saw the show in Seattle back in Oct. & it was stellar...........no monologue, just music. Best concert I've been to. Watching the gal sing "Great Gig in the Sky" was worth the price of admission.
I have tickets for the Vancouver show in June but it looks like I might not be able to make it........
