I think everyone in here likes the Guy Ritchie movies Snatch and Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels...

RockNRolla is on Saturday on Cinemax (on demand already but I havent watched it yet)

Looking forward to watching it Hopefully it lives up to the hype I am creating in my own head for it

It's an enjoyable movie. Usually, people would criticize a director for using the same style over and over but this is a good example of a guy who does exactly that and still makes the movie worth it. Change the story and he's got a new movie.

The first half of the movie is pretty uneven, then he seems to put it all together.  Last 30 minutes are great

I liked it but I thought the other 2 movies were better. Not as many good twists and turns in this one. Ill watch it again but not quite as good as the others

Plus it annoyed me how much that one guy looked like Andy Garcia

I will agree with Devils. definately not as good as "Snatch". some good lines but overall not as funny and the ending was kind of "oops, were running out of time" rushed without tying up a bunch of loose ends BUT there's a sequel so that may be the reason.

btw, I think Richie kind of stole a plot aspect of Quentin Tarantino's "Pulp Fiction" with the Russian's lucky painting. you never see what it is just like you don't know what's in Marsellus's briefcase.

btw, I thought Thandie Newton as Stella, Yuri's accountant was exotic HOT.

no real continuing "tag line" like in "Snatch" where when ever "Franky Four Fingers" (or his body) shows up in a scene it always ends with "is that a (or) why does he have a Tea Cozy on his head?"
