Is this one of the worst movies ever made, or the longest commercial for AOL (and Starbuck’s) ever? Hmmm… yep, that’s about the most thought-provoking question that comes from this obvious, trite, brainless, shallow, poorly acted, predictable, unenlightened, mind-numbing and profit-making insult to the viewers’ intelligence. Why would anyone pay to see something which fails to rise above a television show or even a television commercial? If the unbelievable success of You’ve Got Mail stands as a testament to anything, it is the sad, narrow-minded and embarrassing gullibility of the American public. What a nightmare!
