Bubba Ho-Tep
Three out of Five Stars
Alright, so unique gets a lot of points from me and this film is definitely unique. The nice thing is that it doesn’t seem to try too hard either and there is almost a strange sense of romanticism within the portrayal of Elvis and a subtle yet clear testimony to the fact that our reality is in large part based on what we believe it to be and this subjectivity of certainty makes it tough to argue that anyone really knows the truth from delusionary fiction. Furthermore, Bubba Ho-Tep has some silly humor and stylish camp that makes it worth the watch.
