The “mockumentary” genre is generally reserved for humor. In this film, however, it blends quite well with drama and manufactures an interesting perspective on an innovative idea. The acting and direction are quite good and the invented band, The Bang Bang, creates some pretty decent punk music that sounds like something that I would probably listen to. The satirical hints at exploitation, self-exploitation and self-destruction as well as the sub textual inevitabilities of conjoined twins as it pertains to the notion that two individuals can truly be themselves while still finding it difficult to live apart from one another are all ideas explored in this film with admirable subtly. This is a fine and unique motion picture. I liked it.
