Ray Donovan

New on Showtime after Dexter.

I'll watch any show that opens with Jon Voight shoving a gun in a catholic priest's mouth and pulling the trigger any day of the week.

that does sound like a promising start.  i'll add it to netflix. 

I kinda liked it

It was ok, but not intense or dramatic. Didnt really make me wanna watch more, but I would if I ran across it while flippin thru the channels.

pretty crazy opening scene in episode 1 with John Voight's character blowing away that pervert priest. all in all looks interesting with enough sex and violence to keep the average guy interested. will see how the plot develops

still trying to make up my mind about this series. generally like anything with Liev Schreiber and really like the character of Ray Donovan's right-hand man Avi played by Steven Bauer. think it needs a couple more episodes for the underlying plot to really "fill out"

still WAY too "soap opera" for my taste BUT does have some interesting spots so still watching. I'm booking that Ray is gonna kill that little rapper kid IF he beds his daughter. looks like the plot is headed that way.

This is a great show! Ray's character alone is enough to keep watching.  He wont kill the kid WHEN he finds out, that's not his style to kill a kid, but he will do something, and I would not wanna be in Marvin Gaye Washington's shoes!

I predict it comes out that Ray was molested as well.  

John Voight is easily the best thing about this show.  Very strong cast just not sure if I like it or not but still entertaining at the moment.
