"The Shield" and "Rescue Me" I love, anything to recommend?

I love these two shows.  Anything that compares?  Thanks!...

Rescue Me is tough to beat.

As far as shows that you can find, "Homicide, Life On The Street" was arguably one of the most critically acclaimed shows in the last decade, but one of many shows that NBC killed by always managing to put it in a slot against a show on another network that it couldn't hope to compete with.

Yes, it's cancelled, but they show in on that channel called "Sleuth" these days, and you can buy it by the season as I have.

Showtime's current series "Weeds" is great.
