"Charlie Wilson's War"

  I agree. Check it out if you haven't seen it yet.

I didn't like the film.  I don't like it when Hollywood makes film with the intent to prove a political point, hire big name movie stars then put out a film which the script is unexciting.  I was hyped when I saw that Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts, Amy Adams and Philip Seymour Hoffman were in the film but when the movie was over I didn't feel like it had meet the expectations of a product that stars this caliber of Actors.  All you guys that have posted here tell me what you saw in this movie that was so great.  I saw the film and the only thing that was great were my expectations going into the theater.  I'm not saying the film was terrible but it was far from great.  All in all I didn't feel like the theater's price of admission was worth it...now if a friend of mine had lent me their DVD film for free then that situation would have been worth that price (free).  I don't believe any of you who post here that the movie is great will buy the DVD and watch the film ever again.

I think this was a well acted, well directed, well filmed movie. So from a movie standpoint it was great.

 

But I also agree with WORLDCONTROL that the plot and the twisted way this story was told left alot to be desired.

 

 

Overall I think it's still worth the rental, but this could have been so much better.
