Me and one of my girls rented that movie over the weekend - absolutely brutal. I'd do anything to have those two hours back...maybe hit a club or something.

Well, I saw it in a theatre, and I find that can make a difference in some movies. Is it a great movie, no, but overall I kinda liked it, had some twists and turns I didnt see coming.
The Demi Moore character/performance alone was awful, and should have been completely removed from the movie. I gagged watching her.
But Costner was decent in this, as was Dane Cook. If you can get past what Mr Hurt represents, its a fun movie. But lets be honest, you cant take a movie like this too seriously.
As for Kevin Costner, quitting after Field of Dreams. Check out OPEN RANGE!! I drove 3 hours to see that movie, was it worth it? YOU DAMN RIGHT IT WAS..im not sure which i like better though, as FIELD OF DREAMS was damn good too..

I agree with Shadowman74 on Mr Brooks ( I liked it) and I also really liked Open Range. Although, you did lose me with Field of Dreams, I am not a big fan of that movie.

Too funny guys, I think they're calling you out Fartsniff...I was acutally going to rent that movie the other day but my roommate didn't want to because she thought it would suck, I guess she made the right call.
