MOVIE: The Bourne Legacy

as much as i like Damon in the Bourne series, i don't think Renner can revive the blood-shed that Damon had created.  plus, there is something awkward about him for the role.

trailer here.

Year: 2012

It was interesting to say the least.  The one thing I did like about it is that it was set at the same time the last Bourne movie was and it did not kill off or even mention the death of Jason Bourne.  Maybe in the future we will see both of them together.

a buddy of mine told me Damon might be in the next one with Renner

In a Rolling Stone article awhile back, Damon said he had expected to do another one and was shocked that they went on without him.

So will he do another one or will he feel slighted and tell them to go get fucked.

I felt like 3 was enough. I also thought they were a bit repetitive.

Movie was ok, not nearly as good as previous Bourne movies though.

about half the movie... was a feeble attempt to tie in to the previous ones...
the other half was basically setting up the next one......and then it ended
not terrible but not even close to others

Agreed wasn't very good and wasn't as good as the others

wasn't near enough action my god there was like none

I think it was a necessary evil to spend time tying the movie to the original 3.  I thought the idea overall was solid enough, but it got worse IMO as it went on.  The late scene with the motorcycles was ridiculous.  Here he's fighting off a guy with the hand that actually runs the throttle on a bike.  I'm know these things aren't supposed to be completely believable, but that whole scene was WAY over the top. Thought the foundation for his love interest was forced.

Damon should be in the next one

i thought this movie was boring as fuck. like 1:50 minutes of talking and 20 minutes of action. 4/10
