Last Week Tonight with John Oliver on HBO

think it is definitely worth watching IF you want a good laugh. very fast paced weekly half hour comedy BUT with some serious issues discussed. last two weeks discussed the "buying" of doctors by Big Pharma sales reps and the way Big Tobacco tries to intimidate countries into NOT regulating their sales. Oilver took on both issues in a very hilarious way. it has become "must see TV" for me weekly. it is the modern version of the hilarious "That Was the Week That Was" which aired on NBC and the BBC in the mid 1960's

He's a very funny man.  It's a shame he doesn't open up his repertoire to the idiocy of the Left, as there's surely some great material to be found there.  His feature on food labeling had me crying.  The one on Scottish independence is solid as well.

He reminds me of a mix of John Stewart and Stephen Colbert, with a British accent.....very funny.

Jon had a REALLY good (and WAY funny) look at the upcoming NCAA basketball tourney talking about how the schools and TV networks get OODLES of money and the kids actually playing the games get NO-thing. should re-peat during the week of March 16th on HBO
