last seaon of Boardwalk Empire premiers Sunday sept 7th

the first episode of the HBO Prohibition Era series Boardwalk Empire final season premiers Sunday Sept 7th

I think I might try and give this show another chance.  I just couldn't get into it for some reason.  Maybe the timing wasn't right...

actually most of the better characters have been killed off and anyone who knows the true history of the real Enoch "Nucky" Thompson and George Remus knows what is going to happen in the end. I will watch just to see how they "tie up loose ends". wondering IF that murdering b!tch Gillian (played by Gretchen Mol) gets the chair or not

I think the show is very good and have enjoyed the ride. Could have been better, but if it's going to stay true then there should be a character shift and mor emphasis on the up and comers. Who are just beginning to scratch the surface of their potential.

Another "cant miss" show for me. I have to admit that I am a huge Buscemi fan. I really like the nostalgic direction that they are going in.

Very slow start to the season..For me, it's been disappointing so far, but I expect it to come to life soon..

I don't know. adding the character of Joe Kennedy was somewhat interesting BUT the last episode it looks like HE is done. it is a historic fact the old Joe got his "seed money" for playing the stock market from bootlegging Scotch and Canadian whiskey and then made a fortune shorting stocks during the crash

NO one really THAT interesting to replace people knocked off last season. I really miss the character of the disfigured in WWI hit man Richard Harrow. he was an honorable man. and now they knocked of Nucky's Florida / Cuba woman partner / love interest. will be interesting to see IF either the law OR the Chicago mob catches up with Nelson Van Alden aka George Mueller.

I absolutely agree that they killed off Richard Harrow too early, Jack Huston did a nice job. I do think Stephen Graham has really shined in extended screen time as Capone though..

will be interesting to see IF either the law OR the Chicago mob catches up with Nelson Van Alden aka George Mueller.

well Van Alden aka Mueller got his in episode 6 last week along with "Chalky" White. just two episodes to go and they are killing off regulars like flys

probably just as well the series is coming to an end. seems to have lost it's "zip" this season
