kind of looks like it could be a Prometheus (2012) to me. lot of "hype" BUT did NOT really deliver. will wait for PPV rather than seeing in a theater. 2 hours 45 minutes? YIKES!!!

i never saw gravity. heard it was terrible. i'll watch this when it gets on netflix because nolan is one of those directors where i'll watch anything he does that isn't a comic book type movie.

don't get me wrong, CD. Gravity is worth watching once if for no other reason for the eye popping CGI BUT I just think it was a bit over-hyped

They put Nolan and cast on the cover of TIME and NPR pissed themselves leading up to the release because the film fits the Global Warming script and banter of the Progressive Mediaista so that may explain the hype. That being said Nolan doesn't write/direct garbage and the bugaboo(space trash) in Gravity isn't really a threat at all and is just director's licence.

Fantastic movie, with amazing acting, directing and visuals. It is long, but worth it. I wasn't thrilled with the ending, but it is good enough. Was suprised to see Matt Damon.
All in all, great movie. One of those movies that you really like when you leave the theater, but continue to think about days later. The more I think about it, the more I like it
8.5 / 10
Interstellar is very very solid.

Gravity was amazing visually but doesn't stand a chance when compared to Intersteller. How Intersteller didn't get more nominations I'll never know . One of the best if not best movie I saw all of 2014
