no secret than red dawn was in part produced by right-wingers pushing for a stronger national defense policy...the whole soviets hours away from texas border thing...that movie is every teen's-to-young male's wet dream. and its not that its underrated, its that its a superficial movie; made for one purpose: motivate the young for war.

I have always wondered WHY when it's Americans fighting invaders their "PATRIOTS" BUT when WE invade a country like Iraq because of BULLSHIT, the Iraqis that oppose us are "TERRORISTS"?
