It's a trip how many people were on that show that I forgot all about.

So many good ones, but I have to go with Chris Farley.

Phil Hartman was awesome.

That 90s cast was terrific. Miss those episodes so much.

Phil and Chris

Today's cast isn't even a wart on either of their fannies.

I didn't think Belushi was ever funny at all in anything.

S&L had an incredible amount of talent over all of those years but the writers were so awful that laughs were pretty rare. Skits were especially terrible. Just my opinion.

Ackroyd

Carvey

Hartman

You could certainly make a case for Murphy, Farley, Hammond, Chase (though wasn't he only on the one year?), and probably five others.

Steve Martin was never in the cast.

Where to begin...

If Belushi is not funny in anything, then you need to loosen up.

It is Saturday Night Live (SNL), not Saturday And Live (S&L).

Will Ferrell is my #1.

I haven't watched the show in ages but the 90's cast was very funny.

Carvey was very talented and could play so many characters to perfection.

Ferrell was flat out crazy in some of those skits and had no boundaries. The one where he was just in a thong at the work place was so funny none of the other cast members at the table couldn't stop laughing.

Murphy had so many classic moments and is one of the most natural funny people on Earth.

Tough to really say top 3. Those are just off the top of my head. I agree with Hartman as well. Great range.
