One of the most disturbing films I have seen. What else do you expect from the director of "Oldboy". Its available for streaming on Netflix. Let me know what you guys think.

Just watched this the other day myself, and I thought it was just ok. A lot more violent than I was expecting, but I am fine with that. I would describe it as a Payback meets Hostel type movie. It was also a little long imo. If you guys want a Korean revenge movie to watch, check out the Man from Nowhere. I thought it was a much better movie. The plot was better imo, and the main character is much more likable. Not even as close to bloody, but still lots of blood in its own right. It's also streaming on Netflix. I haven't seen Oldboy yet, b/c the streaming version on Netflix is dubbed! I can't believe some people rather watch foreign movies dubbed in English. It absolutely ruins a movie imo. Want to def check it out though, I've been getting into Korean movies lately.

I've seen Man from Nowhere,I thought it was good also. Yeah foreign movies should be watched with captions, the dubbing makes the movie unauthentic. I however thought because the revenge in this movie struck home more that is why I like I saw the Devil better. Oldboy is the 2nd of 3 revenge movies that the director made. The first one is called sympathy for Mr. Vengence, the 2nd one is Oldboy, the last one is Lady Vengence which i watched the other week and thought it was pretty good also.
