I have a very large collection of music that I need a break from.  Can you guys throw some names out there of artists for me to download from bearshare?  I like all genres except for hardcore rap and nashville country.

Thanks in  advance

You want some band selections or maybe just some really cool obscure tunes to type in your download site?

I'll start with the latter.....

Dave Mathews Band "Some Devil"
(from Sean Penn's movie 24 Grams)

Dead Can Dance "The Ubiquitous Mr Lovegrove"

Big Audio Dynamite "Just Play Music"

Beck "New Pollution"

Beck doing a great cover of Bowie's "Diamond Dogs"

Black Crowes and Jimmy Page doing Zep's "Hey Hey What Can I Do"

...........just a couple ideas of some cool tunes you might not have heard.

Jimi Hendrix "Electric Ladyland" (the album is great, but perhaps you don't have the song downloaded yet

Joe Walsh "County Fair", "Time Out",  "Indian Summer", "The Confessor", "Meadows"

The Clash "Straight to Hell" must have

The singer sounds like the guy from smashing pumpins but I really enjoy this album.  The drummer smokes on "Well Thought Twinkles".  Very catchy stuff.
