It seems like TV sitcoms tend to lose it's "comedy/appeal" after the 5 or 6th season. Ones off the top of my head are 2 and Half Men, Family Guy. Seinfeld (post Larry David). Those are just a few. Anyone else tend to agree?

They're all different. No way did Seinfeld lose its edge after 5. There are so many classics season 6 and beyond...The Soup Nazi, The Gum, The Bizarro Jerry, The Jimmy, The Face Painter, and many many more. I think Married With Children was great season 6 and beyond. As was King of Queens and I'm sure many others..

seinfeld could still be going on now and be a hit show i think. one for sure that has lost its edge is the office. the first couple seasons were hilarious but now it is becoming so boring
