HBO movie "Into The Storm"

Winston Churchill from 1940 thru 1947. really good for those that like historical dramas. excellent acting by Brendan Gleeson as Churchill, Janet McTeer as his wife Clementine, Len Cariou as FDR and Alexey Petrenco as Stalin. Gleeson performs some form of all his famous WWII speeches.

worth watching. it's on HBO again thur june 4th, sat june 6th (D-Day) and again mon june 8th.

YES and it was a GREAT movie. actually a MORE compelling story with Winston being one of the few voices against appeasing Hitler prior to WWII than this latest offering.

BUT "Into the Storm" is well acted and worth watching for history buffs and Brendan Gleeson is excellent as Winston.

maybe the best movie I have ever seen about the great man was Young Winston (1972) with Robert Shaw, Anne Bancroft and Simon Ward. (ref: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0069528/ )
