excellent movie about Edward R. Murrow's fight with Sen Joe McCarthy during the Communist "witch hunt" senate hearings in the early 1950's. saw a lot of political parallels to the Bush administrations actions the last 8 years esp after 9-11. good acting by David Strathairn as Murrow, George Clooney as his producer Fred Friendly and Frank Langella as CBS Chairman William Paley (who also does Nixon in the new "Frost/Nixon" movie).

it's on the HD Net movie channel again sunday Jan 18th @ 1:30 pm pst. it's definately worth a DVR shot.
